Empirical studies on participation in school catering are currently lacking. There is a shortage of knowledge about whether and to what extent participation exists in this area and how it is specifically structured. Therefore, the author of this book examined the implementation of participation in school catering at secondary schools in Baden-Württemberg as an example. In doing so, she describes the forms of participation and highlights the success factors and barriers perceived by the participants, in order to derive practical recommendations for schools.
