This book, the title of which could be translated with „Comparative Indo-European Morphology“, offers an overview of all Indo-European declension and conjugation classes. All inflexional forms are listed up clearly arranged in tables including the Indo-European reconstruction with a following analysis and discussion. Especially the languages Hittite, Old Indic, Greek, Latin and Gothic are taken into consideration.

The author considers the latest research results and also presents his own point of view.

Both nouns and pronouns, as well as cardinal numbers are discussed, and moreover, the development of the tense system from a simple present tense system up to the complex tense system of the classical languages is described.

The work as a whole presents in most parts the state of Late Indo-European and gives in some cases an insight into the facts of Early Indo-European.
