„What is intuition?“. This book sets out for a quest into the philosophy of Baruch de Spinoza and C.G. Jung to get hold of the notion and, in a way, also of the phenomenon of intuition.

In an interdisciplinary approach, three different positions towards the notion are identified. There is research about intuition in philosophy, psychology, and surprisingly, in the economic sciences. There has already been a lot of research on the subject of Spinoza's notion of intuition. Through the comparison with Jung and the matching with the identified positions, new aspects can be discovered.

At first sight, Jung's notion doesn't have much in common with Spinoza's notion of intuition. But through the comparison, vaguenesses and blind spots can be identified and central assumptions can be carved out, that presuppose a certain interpretation. If intuition is seen as an everyday and worldly phenomenon, surprising parallels can be found./p>
