Cloud computing is a hot topic in recent years. A lot has been published regarding the benefits of cloud computing, problems concerning security issues and legal regulations as well as data privacy. ’Implementing Cloud Computing’ starts out from what to consider when implementing cloud services. It names necessary and mandatory criteria as internally and externally imposed demands that might result in the insight that implementing cloud services is beneficial in a given situation. Hereafter it focuses on management decisions that follow on the resolution to introduce cloud services in a company. These implementation decisions deal with appropriate implementation strategies and supporting measures.
Therefore cloud computing itself as well as different implementation strategies and support measures are introduced. Design science is chosen as a research paradigm and theoretically expounded.
