About this book deutschenglish
The 122nd German Medical Assembly 2019 in Nuremberg appealed to doctors to take a critical look at the working conditions and the associated psychological stress.
Self-care is supposed to be the major factor to strengthen a doctor’s resilience (Joy in your profession as well as in dealing with patient).
Doctors should be allowed to help shape working conditions. Furthermore, a request was made at the German Medical Assembly 2019 that working doctors should be given a sufficient time window for doctor-patient communication. Demotivation is expected through inappropriate budgeting and fear of recourse respectively lawsuits. It will give the reader a precise idea of the current situation in the form of a survey of all inpatient and outpatient doctors located in Saarland.
The indicators and stressors will put the emphasis on age as well as on working environment (inpatient/outpatient doctors). The scope for decision making of each body (inpatient/outpatient doctors) will be considered in regards to mentioned psychological and/or mental stress.
This thesis will deal with the following issue:
Can differences be identified in a Saarland-wide survey to record the psychological stress among physicians working in outpatient and inpatient settings?
