About this book deutschenglish

The relationship of languages with each other is as old as the use of language. The influence of languages on one another occurs not only on the lexical level, but also on the syntactic and semantic level. It is thanks to this ongoing interaction that languages evolve. This interaction process undergoes some changes that can be viewed as positive or negative. In the interaction of languages, it is certainly of great importance, which language family they come from. Technological, cultural or facultative causes also play an important role in language changes. Another important point is the coexistence of different cultures or different language users in language interaction. At this point, concepts such as bilingualism and multilingualism arise, which examine language interactions in terms of word, sentence and structure. The aim of this work is to give academics from different fields the opportunity to interpret and exemplify this topic from different perspectives. Although the majority of the contributions on this topic refer to Germany and the German language, examples from different languages, cultures and countries are also presented, and given with different academic perspectives without restricting a subject.
