About this book deutschenglish
In this work the thought of Ludwig Wittgenstein is traced from his early work to his later investigations. New priorities are set which remain partly unconsidered in prominent interpretations. Especially Ludwig Wittgenstein's critique of Cartesian substance dualism opens up new perspectives on the general issues of the philosophy of mind. The current theories of the mind are thereby partially dispensable, and the objections to materialist explanations of consciousness appear bland. By taking these conditions into account a new understanding of the mind results. Mind is understood not as an ontological entity, but as a thought process. In conclusion it will be explained why the philosophical subject can only exist under these conditions and why subject critical tendencies in philosophy lose access to the truth - and thus the exit of the "Platonic cave".
