The work is concerned with three economic subject areas which are currently up to scientific as well as practical discussion: innovation through improved communication and cooperation, regional economic development through cluster building as well as sustainability-oriented logistics sector. In the foreground is the question on whether and to what extent it is possible to promote innovation through cluster management from regional economic and company-political point of view, and to contribute to a more sustainable regional economic and company-political development. Using an expanded economic background a methodical model approach is interdisciplinary developed and illustrated. The derived results have not been only formulated but also applicated at international level. This selected logistic region between North Vietnam and South China is also consciously characterized through a boundary-passing perspective to further focus on, inter alia, different economic policy, administrative, cultural and corporate-policy aspects.
