About this book deutschenglish
Since the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilties (CRPD), inclusion has been regarded as a fundamental idea of modern human rights universalism.
This claim comes up against ambivalences, as utilitarian positions, for example, may threaten the right to life of persons with multiple disabilities. Accordingly, the human subjectivity associated with inclusivity is not comprehensively implemented in society. This concept of intersubjectivity can refer to the theorems of Jürgen Habermas, who considers human subjectivity as dependent on social recognition. Such Intersubjectivity is ultimately implemented in social discourse. Since discourse is essential for the realization of intersubjectivity and inclusion, its terms must be compared and analysed in relation to the concept of multiple disabilities.
The dualistic relationship between inclusion and discourse ethics is elaborated and accentuated in this context.
