In his respective sphere of action, every human being has felt that he belongs to a culture and an identity since the beginning of civilisation. In his conception of values, he knows, the manifestation of loyalty and betrayal, whether consciously or unconsciously.

Under the impression of the long, dark shadow of current capitalism, in the contradiction between loyalty and betrayal, migrants blame each other for their affiliation and identity. The pair of terms does not come out of the blue; it adapts ist content to historical, social and socio-political circumstances. This book analyses the dialectical relationship between betrayal and loyalty among Muslim migrants confronting it with the problem of integration. It can be observed that Muslim-influenced migrants, with their cultural, moral, religious, social and political agency towards the host country, feel that they are betraying their own origins.

Based on this perspective, the paper deals with the three central questions: First, where is the betrayal-loyalty relationship reflected in Islamic thought? And secondly, what is the significance of the betrayal-loyalty relationship in terms of morality among Muslim migrants? Thirdly, what is the function of this relation in the political power structures and in the transformed society as well as in the late capitalist social structures?

In this context, the manifestation of the migration problem is explained in particular in order to grasp the connection between social viewpoints and cultural as well as moral spaces of identity action. In addition, there is a critical assessment of the possible consequences of this pair of terms, which refer to exclusion, racism, discrimination, culturalism, pluralism and neoliberalism in the political-ideological discussions.
