Herausforderungen der Globalisierung

The monograph focuses on the theoretical and pragmatic aspects of cultural transfer from a broad interdisciplinary perspective. Readers can learn more about the psychological and sociological aspects of intercultural communication, world view in terms of cognitive sciences or cultural anthropology, position of translation in the context of globalization processes at the turn of the millennium and their reflection in Slovak Translation Studies. At the pragmatic level, the monograph reflects current problems in translation of non-literary genres; especially advertisements, legal and pragmatic texts.
