Deutsche Phraseologie und Parömiologie im Kontakt und im Kontrast II

The collective monograph entitled ‘Deutsche Phraseologie und Parömiologie im Kontakt und Kontrast II’ includes chosen and positively reviewed scientific articles, produced on the basis of papers presented during the second international scientific conference devoted to phraseology and paremiology. The conference was held in the Institute of German Philology of the University of Wrocław on 23-25 May 2019. The general theme of the conference was ‘Deutsche Phraseologie und Parömiologie im Kontakt und Kontrast.’ The contributions collected in the volume present a wide range of various issues related to phraseology and paremiology. The volume is a collection of texts which, to a significant extent, widen the vast spectrum of questions and scientific research analyses related to phraseology and paremiology, which was presented in the first volume. The collected articles concern the following spheres: phraseme creation, motivation, development and expansion of collocations and proverbs. These are also efforts to answer the question in what way phrasemes and proverbs reflect contacts between nations. Issues as professional phraseology and its functional potential are also analysed here. Numerous authors relate to functions of collocations on the basis of various kinds of texts. Moreover, in the volume it is possible to find research concerning other issues related to the presented themes. Also in the case of the second volume, editors hope that the presented research spheres illustrate excellently the multidimensionality of both the research fields and they will evoke interest of potential recipients.
